Christ Church has an ongoing
partnership with Highland Park Learning Center, an inner city
Roanoke public school in the Old Southwest neighborhood, along
with our congregational partners in Old Southwest called
Congregations in Action (CIA-OSW). Church members
volunteer as tutors for individuals or small groups of students
and help with school projects such as our annual Highland Park
Fun Day in May and Fall and Spring Teacher Appreciation lunches.
