Señor Chris Pohlad-Thomas is continuing an introductory course in the Spanish language that was begun during the Lenten series as well as an intermediate class.  He is using the text Spanish Now! which is filled with exercises and answers, true-to-life dialogues, humorous cartoons, illustrations of Hispanic art, and photos that capture the flavor of Spanish culture in Spain and Latin America.  Starting in the fall these classes will be meeting in the chapel Wednesday evenings beginning 7:00 p.m. for beginner and 8:00 p.m. for intermediate. 

An Ecumenical Hispanic Ministry Group meets regularly to coordinate support for our Hispanic neighbors in Roanoke.
